凄凄去亲爱，泛泛入烟雾。
Sadly I leave my dear friend; drifting into mist and haze.
I, a man returning to Luoyang by boat; hear the lingering bell from trees of Guangling.
今朝此为别，何处还相遇。
This morning we part here; where shall we meet again?
世事波上舟，沿洄安得住。
Worldly affairs are like a boat on waves; drifting with the current, how can it ever stop?
