人事有代谢,往来成古今。
Human affairs have their cycles of rise and fall; coming and going shape the past and present.
江山留胜迹,我辈复登临。
The land and rivers preserve historic sites; we, this generation, climb and gaze again.
水落鱼梁浅,天寒梦泽深。
The water recedes, revealing the shallow Fish Beam; the sky is cold, and the Dream Marsh deepens.
羊公碑尚在,读罢泪沾襟。
The stele of Duke Yang still stands; after reading it, tears wet our robes.
